Tactical Strikes

Tactical Strikes is a Combat Expression that allows a practitioner to reduce their damage output in exchange for a tactical impact. Only those with the best control of their aggression and fighting capability can accomplish this. No attack doing Fatigue or Malaise damage, berserk or reckless, can use Tactical Strikes.

  1. Tactical Shift: Attacker takes a small stride to re-position.
  2. Off-Balance: The target is forced to try and steady themselves or loses movement.
  3. Defensive Posture: The attacker gains a slight advantage in their defensive posture.
  4. Prepared Posture: The attacker maneuvers themselves to Soak a portion of the targets next attack (damage cannot be reduced below 1).

Each one can only be used once per turn; before damage is applied, and do not ‘stack’.
