NOTE: This ADVENTURE will determine the ultimate outcome for the historical event of “The Forgotten Cult”. This takes place a few years earlier of the main campaign start in the world of the North Revealed main campaign. This will have repercussions in that campaign.

@ Start – A Question of Faith

Summary: The PCs are all followers of the Lightbringer faith of the Steel Realms. Steeped in their deepest traditions, and especially so because they are all from the Kingdom of Umbak – the bedrock of the faith. They begin as an elite squad fighting the forces of the Lich Lords on the Autumn Wall in the Grand Duchy of Rhyl. Through their faith, they feel the hand of the gods reach out and whisper to them about a sacred mission they are to go on – they are called to serve and must obey… A power, a new sinister power stirs, the stability of The Red March that supplies North Gate Garrison is in danger and must be secured.

The PCs Back Story

One of the heralds of high priestess Aerna takes this group, fighting on the autumn wall at the regents ward a place of Umbakian priority as it just the farthest into the pass by 1m than any other parts of the wall. Of course the umbakians claim it. There are three shifts, and this group was the slowest shift – the day watch.

All feel the hand of the mother on their shoulder. This hand guides them off the wall and the ward behind it. To the garden were those who seek the piece of home find solace in peace. A. Herald of the mother of light awaits them there and has a mission for them. There is a hand from the dark, reaching out. The mother’s insight knows that it is insidious – it is designed to match whatever force is used against it. And that it knows that the Lightbringers have sensed it, and relishes the challenge. It is a strange darkness, it hides from the revealment of the light, insidious, subversive, and without conscience. Somehow it moves against a specific idea that the High Priestesses of the hearth, field, and bed have come together for. An attempt must be made to salvage it, but without sending the most powerful of agents. A matching force used against those of such power may have severe consequences.
