The Ceremony of the Greathall’s Flame
The fireplaces, hearths, and pit-fires of the hinterlands burn with the green tree flame of Merkaine in the spring Faith in KaaldCeremony of the Greathall’s Flame<[/su_permalink]. The greathall is filed with the living at the start of spring. A living tree is a sacrificed to her and must be kindled by the dry and flammable bones of the dead old trees. Each year this ceremony is performed in the halls, houses, and the Kaaldian Heart Flame Beacons of Kaald.
