Mystical Initiate
A Mystical Initiate is a character that has had some incidental and incomplete training in a particular aspect of mystical capabilities. This may even parallel a current pathway, but represents a separate set of studies and practices that is a dead-end and cannot be developed further.
The source will likely be a Primer. The Game Master, Setting, and/or story elements will determine what is relevant and/or appropriate.

Based on the Magic Initiate feat. The character gains a single imprinted Estranged Formulae of a 1st level spell and 2 Cantrips. Along with this, an appropriate Mystical Reservoir Type and the 1st level Spell Slot to go with it, is granted (based on their Class/Pathway spell list chosen) or leverages one of the character’s existing ones as appropriate.
