Rulership: The ancient and loyal Hetman, sovereign Kueta Tomir.
> The family and ruler is recognized as a Baronial Peerage title, though they themselves do not use it internally.
The barony is a close ally of the Earldom of Bar-Innis and is the primary building and repair facilities for the Ducal Navy of Dunstrand.
All ships of the navy are made in the Rostov naval shipyard. Its name bears a Tarmysian cultural name rather than Dunstrandian because it was built by them. The yard and the repair of its ships are one of the big reasons the duke leaves the area to itself. The local are excellent ship builders, inheriting knowledge and processes of the Sea King ancestors. While they do not rival Gwinn directly, they do for vessels smaller than Ships of the Line.
At the edge of Scar Flow (old Westmarch), a few KM off the Tarmysian coast and in the Coldstream Channel (and technically part of Tarmysian territories) of the Tomir Barony is a strange set of features named the “Ray and Shark”. A strange slanted plateau island named the “Flying Ray” due to its shape and the triangular thrusting hill named “Shark’s Fin” to the south of it. Fast and incredibly dangerous tides move through this area and are renowned for destroying ships.
