Adventure Principles

These principles are part of the Incarnaverse™ perspective. They are ours, and may not reflect your own or your group in all ways. They are intended to explain the design and development approach of the materials around the Infinite Incarnations™ (“Incarna”) game materials. These principles may be expounded on elsewhere in part or whole, embedded in other text or as a document of their own.

Abbreviated Principles:

ADVENTURE PRINCIPLE: EASY TO SCALE

Do not let strict campaign or challenge level dictate your use of adventures. Both the story and PC capability should be able to be modified to support most measures of adventure requirements. A good Game Master can generally use the Incarna principles, system & tools to support them in telling their story with whatever characters and circumstances the Players have. Above all things, the game space should be fun!

  • Good narration and response is something both Player and Game Master engage in to make a great experience in the game space.
  • Bend mechanics and resolutions to suit what you need to get a better experience in the game space.
