Aelf of the Steel Realms (“The Ancient Ones”)
The earliest faerie kin to come to Helca were the ancient Aelves of the iVerse.
The Aelfs were here for the duration of the Time of the Green Paths.
Aelflings of Helca
Oceanlings – Water Elves: The “ocean aelves”, gilled aelves; Like all the Aelflings of Helca, they had become more primitive and simple over the eons. Beauty, art, song, and simple pleasures were their life and they all dwelled in the city they once called the “Green Crest” (for the greenish tinge when massive waves would slam the island’s shores on the nights of the full moon).
Cloudlings – Air Elves: The “cloud aelves”, winged aelves
Relevant History
The Illyrians traveled by the Aelfpaths to Helca and found refuge for hundreds of thousands of years.
It is remembered in Aelven records only by their gap in the deepest memories of the Soul Trees as “The Green Empty” and by echoing memories that linger on the Aelfpaths of Helca.
