Castle Vulgarate (the “Throne of Stillness”)
Castle Vulgarate is the “home” of Theodrose. The castle is almost totally silent. It was not built for the living – It contains almost no amenities for them. It is symbolic, practical, and a storehouse for times of war. The undead sit or stand, staring at nothing until the living require something of them; Only recently has it been realized that talking does not seem to bother them, though the cold and cracking skin of the effort always makes it seem so.
The Castle is the place where the power of The Blue Wall and the Frostfang meet, creating a frozen “stillness”. It is the only place where Thedrose and the Crystal Riders feel calm and are in no pain or discomfort.
