Ruins of Ker-Makrint
The Sea-King ruins of Ker-Makrint are on the land of Osmail Mark – the home of a small baronial territory that encompasses a town, a couple hamlets and a few settlements as part of the Lowland Territories of the Earldom of Bar-Innis. It is surrounded by myths and rumors, but is nothing more than a crumbling ruins.
The fortress of Ker-Makrint was razed to the ground during the war between the Sea-Kings and Bronzefolk. During the siege it became completely flooded. At one point it overlooked a spur and small delta off the Nanford River and must have been filled from there. It was the most eastern redoubt of the Hammarin Valley before the catastrophe of the Nanford changing course sunk it for good.
Earthquakes from the region of Scar Flow sometimes shift and uplift the ruins.
