The Shackles of Malice: The Red Dragon of the Blood of Gethnirt destroys the entire outholt and surrounding community. Creating a Dream Pall, it gathered unto it the feelings of dissatisfaction, unhappiness and intolerance and chained the place with these memories. It took to the sky, and neither its name nor description – or ultimate fate – survived. The spirits of Ducateon, terrified and screaming in pain in their last moments, still haunt the place. It has been thousands of years since the true light of day has penetrated this place. It covered nearly every part of the plateau except the western edge for thousands of years. Its magic is waning, and the mist is shrinking over time.
