Alonzho Spirit-Walker was a powerful and dedicated follower of the spirit and aspects of Djerduth. When the northlands of Dundaria fell, and the Lich Lords stole the power form the death-god, one of the last priests of Djerduth to wield power was Alonzho who cast forth his own spirit permanently to the House of the Dead in order to relay the fates of thousands of the dead in the north to their loved ones and survivors. It was a one-way slow passage to death, he knew it when the ceremony was enjoined. For months, his lost sect of Djerduth and he sought news of the fate of so many as they passed into the afterlife until his tenuous grip on life finally faded and he himself and his sect-brethren followed.

He used items that had once been touched by a person to track down information. It is said that every item he touched, to try and track down the spirit associated with it, he was forced to spend his own life Essence in anima (synergy) permanently. Eventually, his body was a husk, empty of life and passed on. He was said to have imparted a few of them items with some anima permanently in order to find the important spirit of those whom he had no knowledge of at all, and whose fate was obfuscated by undeath or mystic influence.

He was renowned for his compassion and mercy and known to be able to walk the the Halls of the Dead to return with final messages from loved ones for bereaved nobles. The money gained would go tot the succor of the poor and dying. HE was violently opposed to those using Blood Magic, because their victims seemed to suffer, even in The House of the Dead.

Thebadoux’s Wondrous Monocle was once handled by Alonzho Spirit-Walker, who gifted Thebadoux a glimpse into the Halls of the Dead and a vision of his family bloodline – many of which he had no idea of. “There is a line of blood from here back into the eternity of the past – you are part of that chain, part of something greater and more important than any single link. We are all bound by blood, we are all one.”
