Waerl Bay

Waerl Bay once held several islands part of the Seaborne Isles and claimed by Gwinn, but since The Sundering in CY 5000 took place, and the Sea King Empire fell, it became a place claimed by several powers. It is a place prone to massive storms called Waerlstroms, that easily sink ships, cause massive rip tides, and sometimes cause a massive uplift of the islands part of the empire that are sunken at all other times.
The coastal waters off this place are a source of the Baighent’s Ink commonly used by occult practitioners, scribes, and government officials.
