Sayvalod was supposedly the first of the Sea-King captains to see the far-away land, thus it was fallen to his name for claim to the mass of lands across the sea.
The Sea-Kings hired many of the northern Pinetribes in this far-away land, and these accumulated and when their power was broke, the many left the civilized lands and returned to the ways of their goddess Ezrilus – returning to the wild and untamed places, which eventually would be found in the drive to settle Sayvalod. Like the Steel Realms, there are many pockets of Pinetribesmen throughout the lands, living in the remote places and clinging to their way. When the Bright East’s light dimmed and all fell to ruin in the Gray Wars, the tribes made a resurgence and have been fighting a losing battle since as the lands of men once again begin their slow climb back from barbarism.
