Eyes of Darupet
The Eyes of Darupet is a function that is enacted through one of the Wyld Rites. Within a Beastwoods, there exists a communication Network. The eyes of the beast can scan written documents and bee seen through. They cannot understand it but on the receiving end another druid or ranger may be able to see through an animal’s eyes as if they were viewing it. It is the perfect means of “encryption”. Animals can be sent to search. And while they don’t necessarily send back coordinates or anything like that, it is not considered formal scrying. If the animal finds its Target, it may deliver a message or allow it to be seen through a like animal on the other end. This allows messages and communication over long distances without knowing exactly where the person is and jeopardizing their safety.
This is a specialty of Fiongala – known as “Fox News”. Foxes have become the primary spirit to be used in this manner. Excellent finders, cunning, and no desire to be involved in human affairs – they are ideal for delivering information without understanding, and forgetting it as fast as they processed it.
