Go-Zen the many-eyed
Go-Zen was a priest of Everdark. He created the Spiders of Go-Zen, giving birth to the abominations of Shadow and Arachnid in the depths of the darkest torture pits in the oldest of the Dark Lands.
Go-Zen was a half-ork/half nurth that was born in the festering corruption on the plains of the Dark Lands, deep underground. He/it has 8 eyes, though not situated as that of a spider, its significance was manifested in the birthing of his greatest experiment – the Spiders of Go-Zen. He had virtually no mouth, and could only hiss a form of Nurthling speech. He had hairs like spiders and could crawl the tunnels walls of the Orrish settlements swiftly. He rose in ranks as a priest of Everdark, having never come above the ground in his entire life, so dedicated to the darkness was he. The spiders were the result of a lifetime of experimentation, sacrifice, and foul rituals. He lived to be over 100, and in the end, it was the act of being attacked and eaten by his own twisted creation that empowered that entity to lay a brood clutch and finally spawn a next generation, that in turn ate it.
