Aelf

The species of Aelf (also referred to as the original, or Ur-Faerie/Ur-Elf)is one of the earliest and far-spread advanced races of the iVerse. All ‘Elven’ offshoots are descendants of the pure-blood Aelves. Aelves hold themselves distinct from their Faerie kin and avoid the Feywild. They developed the first Elvish script and language apart from Sylvan. For an Aelf, the spirit of the Feywild rests within them, it is something to be controlled and harnessed. These creatures adhere to the tenets of order and structure. Aelfs that are corrupted are said to have gone “Fae” – their chaotic and wild nature of the Feywild takes hold of them. Aelfs seem naturally drawn to and able to find Augmentum. Only a few of the Draconus seem also able to sense them. These creatures are known to possess a Sublime Perspective.

All of the ancient Aelfs have the following features:

Pregnable Impurity Friend to the Elements: A spirit of the wind can be called upon by the Aelf character.
They get a sprite as familiar; it normally will automatically clean wounds and excise materials on its owner. It stays invisible as long as it’s doing this. Otherwise, as normal. Can only use Find Familiar ritual, and only in natural areas. Must be able to make sound – can be gagged, but not enclosed in sound proof chamber – the sounds must be able to go airborne and be heard by the sprite familiar.
