Spiders of Go-Zen (Moon Spiders)
The Spiders of Go-Zen are part of the Bestiary of the Steel Realms. These spiders were the results of many attempts by Go-Zen, a priest of Everdark, to create them.
The Spider Riders of Everdark are nurthlings that have the ability to crawl walls like spiders themselves and can hold on and direct the Spiders of Go-Zen into battle. Without them, the spiders simply serve as day-time watchers over the entrance to raider caves and concealments.
The Spiders of Go-Zen spin a filament known as “razor web” that the Trap Masters can turn into something akin to piano wire with Wormtaint. Only Orrish with Darkvision can see it and it is used to great and horrific effect. They often will set up pits or gaps that need to be jumped over and use them at a height that won’t strike the smaller Orrish.
Moon spiders: The Spiders of Go-Zen are also called “Moon spiders”. In the Time of the Cold Moon, they travel on beams of moonlight and can access to Aelfpaths of the Steel Realms to attack the enclaves and Wealds of their hated faerie foes of Helca.

Base Stats: Giant Spider; the web can be acidic 1/day for 2d6;7/12/18 per Acid Splash if the initial check to avoid is failed – but it dissolves the next round. The web has 15hp.
