Essential Formulae are a foundational part of the Formulae (Spell, Charm, Orison, etc.) List. Essential Formulae are pervasive across the iVerse as part of the lower echelons of magical powers. They can generally be acquired through learning, meditative insights, inspired, or compact of almost all types. The specific manifestations within the Mystic Traditions powers have their own (expanded) capabilities in addition to the basics to use with the larger rule set. Almost all forms of Essential Formulae, can be bound into Occult Charm using appropriate Sparks.
Essential Formulae are typically acquired as part of Mystic Reservoir and use a standard Mystic Progression as determined by specific Skill Feature or Pathway/Class. Cantrips, like all Formulae, follow the same Effect Dimensions for targeting.
