A Contact is a form of a Social type Feature.
Characters may work to establish relationships between themselves and NPC’s. These are positive, familiar, and mutual interactions over time that set an automatic level of trust and success in dealings between them. Characters may start play using the ___ to have a ‘Positive’ relationship with a contact in their chosen profession. This grants a +1 in all checks where the character is seeking to tap into the contact’s benefits – such as Availability, etc. A certain matter of expectation also comes with a relationship – i.e. it must be kept up through interaction and use.
Contacts can be purchased at the time of Character Inception, though afterwards, relationships must be built in game. They are typically providers of goods and services.
