Body Comp
Body Computers (Body Compass in mystical terms) are worn on the body and/or implanted in some way. They monitor bodily process and are used to trigger actions. These can consist of any combination of alerts, injections (such as Healing Portions/Doses), even armaments that are worn or within sensor range. Every Body Comp comes with a small built in readout display and standard ports.
- Basic Ports: 1 Portable Power Source port, 1 body link port (for body monitor), and a communication port (for broadcast/monitoring); 4 Progit ports
- Power: A standard 1 SEU is used to power the actual basic computer and non-progit ports per month; each progit requires 1 SEU per day.
- Connecting:
- Disconnecting: It can be violently removed in a single action, with broken technical elements likely causing damage. Or it can be carefully removed over multiple rounds safely and without incident.
Early Tech Limits: The use of tech triggered “Dose Packages” is often limited to a Saturation Factors The specific reagents and the targeted body cannot handle more than a number of doses equal to the portion saturation factor. It prevents the use of multiple doses within a cycle (typically a ‘day’).
Body Comps typically function by being tied to a specific species and/or specific individuals, and mystical ones can be Singularly Bound as well.
