Underpad: Armor (worn) indicates that the armor can be worn underneath certain other types of armor as a layered effect, adding to that armor’s effectiveness. Typically this is a fitted and fine version of flexible armor such as leather, padded, hide from certain beasts, etc. Some forms of reinforced doublets may be worn as well.
