MTG Undead challenge

Part of the MTG play options challenge sets for us merry folk; This is to have a consistent undead theme for an MTG multiplayer challenge.

  1. Follows Freeform – iTactical basics… unless otherwise specified here
  2. Format: Standard
  3. Construction: No crazy banned cards (Mox, lotus, etc.); Min Cards: 60; Nothing pre-constructed
  4. All creature cards must be a class of “undead“
  5. No Commander/EDH or companion
  6. NO ante
  7. No direct damage from instant/sorc/enchantment/triggered ability/tap creature or perm. for damage – only “life loss” (ex: opponent loses X life…)
  8. Victory conditions: 5 or less people = 1 multiplayer game – Last one standing; otherwise, single elimination duels until last person standing.

Source: (FB MSG THREAD 9/2022) What about a weekend with an undead theme? Not necessarily a sealed deck tournament but everybody makes a deck that’s got vampire skeletons zombies. Seems like it would be easier than a single soldier, night, or single sub creature type theme if we just did a broad category like undead.
