Many of the fallen east families brought with them a taint. IT is said that those who had pilgrimaged to the Well of Spirits were tainted – taking a vial with them, anointing each generation (actually entropy!)
Nobles going to dunstrand were not tainted ones

= minotaur “terrorized” the land. Really, it was a shepherd who stumbled on him foraging, saw him and screamed. His dog attacked, was killed, and he offered his sheep. The villagers have been offering him and his dog sheep, goats and pigs ever since.
He cannot speak any language any more, just grunt and snort.
He loses control when attacked, becoming reckless

PCs can make nature checks to know not behaving like a normal minotaur.
It charges, trips and falls. Its wearing plain ring mail, carries a plain shield and wields a plain long sword. There is no aura of fear about it.
When he dies he and his dog revert back to their normal forms.
