Empowered Magic is Universal Pattern Expression that affects all entities. Empowered Magic universally removes the “check each round” aspect of spells. Once a spell save is failed, the primary effects fail for the duration (typically damage causing effects are exceptions). If a spell does have a per round affect that is warranted, the GM will note this.
