Deadly Precision

Deadly Precision is a Combat Expression feature that facilitates such things as sneak attacks, ambush, and assassination.

Targeting the Living: This type of strike targets vital areas – joints, organs, etc. – of living creatures. It CANNOT be used against Undead versions of any living creature. If the attacker has no familiarity with an alien physiology or form, it cannot be used unless it can be extrapolated (ex: a humanoid form for an attacker used to dealing with humans).

  • An attacker using Deadly Precision that cannot gain the damage bonus (such as against an undead target) can still use their knowledge to strike true. For each damage allotment they would normally get, they may apply as an attack bonus instead.

SNEAK ATTACK / BACKSTAB

  • Target the Living: Strike True can gain a +1 on Attack for each substitution of 1d6 damage allotment – this at least increases the chance for a major outcome (and full damage).
