The Celestine doctrine of Knowledge & Action is a simple but core element of the few shared sacred ‘texts’ of the Celestine faith. It is part of the official texts of the Records of the Celestials of Helca.
Actions are sacred. The past is behind us, and our actions carry us beyond it. Beyond the mistakes, past the pain, towards progress and our ultimate destination. The accumulation of knowledge and experience and the self awareness of these and how they shape us is the most sacred aspect of every sentient entity’s journey to power and quality. Holy ground is made mostly for defense, and is small. Independent concerted action is promoted over group-think dogmatism and tradition.
Because of the Celestine doctrine of Knowledge & Action, most celestials have only small sacred ground, building few large scale edifices of faith for worship. Instead, places which promote their ideas, concepts, and values are made sacred – a much more practical approach that integrates goods and practices rather than scripture or myth. This lack of faith-only edifices removes a major focus of large conflict.
