Faerie Metal Crafting (especially Elven) tends to work with pure metals rather than common alloys. Instead of common alloys, they typically find meteorite, rare-earth metals, and use magical flames and Anima Founts within their Wealds that power the Soul Wells to forge mystical strength into lighter & natural weapons.
Pure metals are easier to empower. Silver and nickel are the most common base metals used by Elven smiths. Rituals and Ceremonies coax strength from the community rather than a specific maker themselves. The most common output of quality and Prestige weaponry within Elven communities are Mytrial armaments.
