CY 9143, Month 2, heading out
You recognize the emmisary from the Council of Cerran’s Grant – while you dont “know” him, he has been to the Sun Belt MErchant headquarters in town before.
I’ll be honest not sure how I should handle this, what direction I should move in
You can mention it on the call tomorrow for sure. You can try and see if any of the logging camp workers might know anything more
Jessup to be given money and sent to get recruits for the army to the west in Bar-Innis.
Grak helps get you through to Cerrans Grant where you can get a boat down river. The Nanford is a wide river, boats drift down it and sail up it – like the Nile. You keep your head down and to yourself. Pick a name to travel under – you obviously wont be using your real one.
Grenier
i’m being lazey this morning
ha! no worries. You get a cipher from Cali if you need to send letters, so its not obvious what they are really about.
You can see theres plenty of checkpoints now into the Riverdan of Bondeu. The arms embargo is being enforced. The river traffic is fairly robust, and agents of West River Run county accompany almost every vessel – they really do have a stranglehold on a lot of trade.
{made a check} your fake id manages to hold up so far
you get to the borders of the Riverdans themselves, to the Earldom of Bar-Innis. There you can start to recruit – make a check
{fumble is made} ugh. Well, you get the sense its just not going to happen. You can probably do more good if you are alone coming up from the south inland, rather than using the river. Its slower, but you can gather a lot more intelligence as a single traveler
sounds like a plan
make a history check to plot a best course back to Athlapoole
nice. Ok, you are going to go east, then north-northeast up the border of the Rinverdans and country Faer till you get to the border of Bondeu and Horpan then cut west through Bog Mile Gap
Returns with some intel on forces outside of Athlapoole on the roads
Is there for the duel.
