Mystic Essentials

Every Mystic Tradition has essential capabilities that underpin theirs and other mystical powers as a type of Essential Formulae. These provide a necessary foundation for certain other mystical capabilities. They may vary by methodologies, practice, and even setting… or be universal according to GM decision. These foundations are referred to as Mystic Essentials, and all practitioners should have access to one of these Cantrips. Individuals seeking to craft mystic items absolutely rely on these fundamentals. Mystic Essentials are Formulae that is pervasive in the setting under normal circumstances. Although essentials may be part of several different approaches that implement mystical formulae, they may in part or in whole also be triggered using only Anima (similar to Charms).

Practicing Mystic Essential: To have the accolade of a ‘True Essentialist’, the practitioner must also possess the Meditation feature – this opens up certain possibilities using the essential powers (such as manifesting individualized displays).
