Athlapoole

Combatants

  • Carli?
  • Horace; chain mail
  • Elmtown Gap Settler Families: 10 irregulars
  • 6 monks led by Franklin; they are mostly good for one nearly guaranteed single use strike from stealth and then to fade away before they get caught – not standing toe-to-toe fighters. Franklin himself is willing to die to ensure his brethren can claim the Elenkaa Hillfort ruins as the new location of their monastery.
  • Samedi – Druid 4th of Daruphet/Cult of the Shag-ed Beast Lord; Hes not a good damage dealer, with his Mantle of the Mongoose, he can keep one powerful enemy engaged and almost assuredly take no damage. He wants to live to restore the Briarwood.
  • Grak (F5) and 14 quarter and half-orc teamster/guards (F1 – studded leather, light wood shield x2, spear, axe, dagger)
  • Jessup and 7 total woodsmen/loggers (large/strong; heavy small shields, axes) + 5 extended family males (not loggers – but teamsters)
  • 2 2nd level clerics from Phil’s order of Love and War: 1 healer of Ezrilus, 1 war cleric of Mizras with a war banner (1 use of Reckless Assault)
    > the rest are at the abbey, in case you need to retreat through that area
  • 38 light irregulars (leather + improvised buckler (AC 12); dagger, spear)
  • 19 light infantry (studded leather + light shield (AC 14/1 resilience); spear, dagger)
  • 14 light skirmishers (AC 11; dagger, slings or self bow)
  • Cunnaigh family members: Druid 1 x 2 (sling, staff, leather, light wooden shield)

Non Combatants

33 army logistics/dependents (hand ax or dagger)

The population of Athlapoole
– 20 watchmen; DC 15 to turn into light infantry
– 10 foragers (sling, self bow)
– 5
– 10
– 10 = 25 militia
-8 success of important families = hetman of resettled villages
> F1 first Borns; leather, improvised large light shield (+3), spear, dagger, ax
= lead by Horace

Elmtown Gap Settler Families: 50 people

Grak’s operations’ families: 13 females, 12 grandparents, and 19 children; women can fight and run a med camp/haul down fighters out of combat.
> 3 wounded males from journey
+ 3 families of human settlers they brought with them – the women are running the land office, registering anyone supporting Belim with land rights

6 Logger extended families + Jessup’s extended family (they are not happy, but support him because it might restore their honor and claims)

Rearguard Forces

The Cunnaigh family are also hiring about 10 skirmisher ‘mercenaries’ (really just a bunch of Horpan locals with a strong anti-establishment streak) from the Riverdan of Horpan to the north to keep the road open and eyes on the Condar Valley in case it needs to be a place to fall back to. They are competent, and ride mules and operate as 1-2 bands that can live off the land.

The direct Cunnaigh family members have retreated to Arebor Tower and barricaded themselves in.
