Violating the Godspeak Oath
Elancil has some strange, limited capability of Violating the Godspeak Oath without repercussions. There is nothing in the Records of the Faith of Elancil that speak to this.
There is one god above all that has many times broken the Accord: Elancil. Her chaotic and stormy nature perhaps has some influence here, although it is not known why Sun Steelers’ like nature does not allow it for him. She seems to possess some knowledge or drive that sometimes forces this issue. At times it has appeared that not even she is consciously driving forward a breaking of her oath. It is spontaneous, driven by passion and/or rage in the moment. Ignoring the crime of oath-breaking is no small feat. Perhaps she has some way of compartmentalizing her will and thought to isolate them from the effects of oath breaking.
