(Request) With the release of key elements of the OneDnD™ Players Handbook 2024, it is clear there is no significant difference in the skills system. The skill system is one of the hardest part to work with. Some skills are ridiculously narrow and others are wildly too broad. It is frustrating to say the least, and aggravating because sometimes they work differently than the players or GMs think they should, depending on context. Mapping the 5.0 SRD to Incarna skills would provide a bridge to a better skills system, and depending on how its implemented would give a means of spending Character Points in between leveling to improve characters and add depth and uniqueness.

(Analysis) This represents a large scale effort, but it is better to do it sooner rather than after the next version is released in 9-2024. Because there are more skills, the players would need to become more familiar with the old Incarna set of skills. This gets players involved more, but since DnD is not a skill based system they wont have to remembers and record as many of them.
