Steel Root (Kelonor’s Blade)
This sword was made for the woodsman Kelonor, who came from a sphere unknown – with The Blood of Saemon. He fled his world, which was dying. Legends say he joined with Selthar the Equalizing in many adventures. The sword was light and unencumbering, and swift as a breeze, made from the elements of fire and air and forged by a djinn of far away deserts. Kelonor used it to defeat an ancient vampiress and her minions which terrorized one of the islands of the vanished Sea King Empire. Kelonor returned to his sphere, most tales say he took the sword with him. It is recorded in the Book of Dalyoon that he perished in combat, against Everdark and his spawn of night as they sought dominion over his home sphere. Some later tales have the sword surfacing in the lands of the east, but no evidence has ever been brought forth that the sword did aught but follow its owner to oblivion.
