Regardless of the source- House Malor, Druids, or Bella, the knowledge that the Giant Ants of the Moorswood secret a resin that will protect against the troglodyte stench is known. The last raid on the lair they were unprepared, and Lizardmen lead the way, clearing most dangers. The counter is an antimicrobial tree resin + their own poison = disease resistance and fights against troglodyte chemicals.
THE CATCH: The druids have recently brought these giant ants forth to protect the shore and woods from Gwinn, you cannot kill many of them. No fire, its too smoky and don’t want to offend the druids.
As the PCs continue to “assault” the any nest, the ants will attack. Collecting a dose to protect a character will increasingly provoke them. DC 12 Dexterity
