Amesha (bound Zephyr elemental)

The ancient elves of Helca bound themselves to the elementals, as their traditional gods seemed to grow distant and their connection weak. The oldest elven lineages that bound themselves to the Soul Trees, would form an entity from the elemental powers guarding the trees, and give birth or whelp a zephyr – a minor elemental of air. This they called the Amesha – and it would forever be moving, carrying with it the winds of the breath of the ancestors bound to the Soul Tree; It carries the primal and mindless power of the elemental and the memories and focus of their kin. All of the eldest elves, and all Ynthian elves are bound to the Soul Trees upon their assumption of Flora Bound, which opens their Heartshine to touch the Soul Tree and their ancestor spirits. They have the option to bind the elemental power that carries the thoughts of their ancestors with them forever. The Amesha will carry with it its forest scent, and imbue the scent of its season to its binder as well.
