Home of the Safe Hearth – Afterlife Promise of the Lightbringers
The Home of the Safe Hearth was originally a vision and promise of Aerna. Now, all of the light-bringers share a vision of the life after death and an eternal reward based on Mother Aerna’s basic vision. It conforms to the standard Afterlife processes and manifestation. Due to the nature of the conflict on Helca, the hearth fire, sun, and the afterlife banish the darkness entirely.
The “Safe Hearth” is a place of domestic tranquility. A hearth always lit and warmth eternal. A feast each meal, and the telling of stories. There is a regular hunt to supply each family or troupe lodge. Each day, as the sun rises, there is a gathering and those gathered sing a praise for the bounty, safety, and happiness the light heralds – further empowering it’s protective presence. It never completely goes dark, it is always just over the edge of the horizon at best.
