There are many possible creatures to incorporate into games as companions. The settings and GM’s will decide ultimately which are appropriate by setting for PC’s and which are NPC only. Natural/Wild creatures are those which are native to the locale and have evolved naturally. Monstrous creatures and typically non-native creatures of greater challenge or wyld native creatures which have warped or changed by external influences into a more challenging version of themselves. Creatures of all types may be considered as naturally ocurring in any setting, depending on circumstances. Creatures may also exist by means of Summoning.
Can be controlled and directed. Any Natural Predator that is domesticated, loses the advantage of the trait.
A bonus of +1 any domesticated cooperative simple task [ex: Ride or pull a cart]; Will not run from combat – calm under fire, but wont engage.
A bonus of +2 in any domesticated cooperative simple task [ex: Ride or pull a cart]; War-trained – can engage as an attacker.
A trained creature’s bonded companion is usually their owner/master/etc.
Personal Defender: The trained creature can perform a Help action to assist their bonded companion for 1 action in the round. They are able to Dodge a single attack as well. They can only do this with enough room to maneuver and if their bonded companion is in personal combat with no more than 3 foes (not part of a group melee with allies).
