Given the clear division of effort and effect in faith based power, the effort is always made by the Principal as a Principal Endeavor – it cannot be interrupted since in effect they are not present to be interrupted. Hence, all faith powers called upon succeed. The effect is channeled by the follower – who may be stunned, or knocked over, but unless completely unconscious the power can eventually be directed the way desired. Only a similar level of power can prevent the power of Principal from manifesting.
