Blackhounds (Hell Hounds)

Blackhounds are the creatures summoned from the dark depths of hell by the priests and warlocks of Everdark and Sunstealer; These creatures take the form of dogs, although are born of fiend blood and chaos. They are used as guardians of sacred Places, clergy, and altars of the Church of Darkness. At times, they are summoned to take part in raids into the lands of light, personally controlled by priests or special handlers. They are used to track down scattered victims of raids – they are particularly sensitive to human smells.

Tactics: These hounds are difficult to stop once they track a scent. They will ignore smaller Orrish in their way to employ their fiery breath with maximum effect. They often make jumping attacks, over the top of goblins that screen their presence behind them. Larger Pack Leaders exist when there are 4 or more, coordinating hunts on a single target instilling fear in their baying and possessing other features from their chaos origins.
