A blightwild forms when The Deeping reaches the roots of an ancient grove or tree that was a doorway to The Feywild, and a Blight is formed. The blightwild will actively try and pull those venturing near enough into The Feywuild, stranding them there. The persistent doorway with the blight attached to it allows evil creatures to exploit the magical energy flowing into the the world; the normally verdant and life-giving (though strange) effects of The Feywild are twisted into fell necromantic energies for those who know how, to take advantage of them.
