Mark of the Dead: Characters who have truly passed into the House of the Dead will find it more difficult to find their way back in the future. The ‘mark’ itself has no physical manifestation, though it can be immediately sensed by all undead.
Mystics will often attempt to visit the House of the Dead in order to gain visions of the past, present, and future, and to communicate with the dead, little realizing that the more they do so, the more likely it is that they will get lost in their own transit. The “deeper” this mark, the more that this is true. And, even if they do make the transit, it is likely to be fraught with peril and take longer.
