Mike Ball

Kelly’s Memories: Mike was one fo the few people in high school that understood the role-playing urge. We made god characters and in our immature fumbling solo’d the hell out of them and competed with them. Mike was my gateway to drugs. I was already an alcoholic, but LSD was the next big leap. We would get high, drunk, light the figurines on fire with lighter fluid, and game. Mike introduced me to an expanded idea of metal like Iron Maiden. We shared a love of Black Sabbath, Metallica, Motorhead and Megadeth. Roaming around Bellevue, Overlake, etc. and playing video games at the Hoagies Corner deli. I still wish I had maintained contact with him, but he was a very troubled person, and left high school and never looked back… he was incredibly smart, negative, sarcastic, and witty. I wish him the best.
