Potions: Healing (superb) x2, Climbing x1, Clairvoyance x1
Orb of Small Help: The orb is roughly a 8″ sphere with no apparent surface features, inside it is a dark green-black fluid. The item has 4 charges, each day it regains D2+1 at dawn. Swarms are summoned by manipulating the orb in a certain way, and a great mouth will open on its surface and disgorge the swarm in one round. It stays for 10 minutes, and does not require Concentration. As a Bonus Action, the attuned owner can cause the swarm to move and/or attack a target, move an object, harass an area, etc.
1 Charge: Summon Swarm (wasp; throw orb up in the air)
2 Charge: Summon Swarm (rat x 2 size; place orb on the ground) – this has all the movement and manipulation capabilities of Mage Hand (on the ground and up to 5′ off it) until half the swarm is killed.
He stands 7’, around #230, has green scales tinged brown in places. His eyes are reptilian, and rarely blink. He spends long moments standing still. A massive tail nearly 4’ long. He says his name is Ujazk, but to call him Jas if its easier. He is mostly unadorned, and only wears a long brown cloak and a strange codpiece under yellow split shorts as a favor to the sensibilities of those around him. He speaks the common tongue with an accent, even toned and nearly emotionless and without any somatic flourish. A plank wood shield is slung on his back. A club embedded with many teeth hangs at his waist on a lanyard. A strong set of cords looking like a webbing covers his torso, with small pockets attached. At his left hip is a water bottle, and an unadorned satchel hangs above it, slung over his right shoulder. With unexpected pride he points to the carved bone holy symbol of Silvanus hanging around his neck. “Once I served the god of my people. I made a choice of life over power. I was cast out but was found by the god. He embraced me and I regained many of my powers and now serve him, the world, the plants, and the beasts. I took from the world a great clan leader, and so I aspire to be a leader myself to rebalance the loss. I have studied for years in the temples of Cormyr to learn your ways. I offer myself, if you will have me.”
When I was younger, my people were enthralled to a black dragon. Rivkin killed the dragon. My people were grateful. I along with 2 others were offered as a gift. We expected to be killed, seeing our fate as tribute to such a great slayer. Instead we were taught the tongue of his people, and he swore that after 7 years we could return to our people. There was no going against this, such is the way. In return for our keep, he had us instruct his minions to make use of our aquatic abilities to locate many things around the docks. We raised generations of poisonous eels for whatever reason – we never questioned. Only one of us died, caught in a night patrol net. SHe was treated very poorly. There is no dignity in playing with death. Rivkin saved her that night, bringing a swift and good death at his hand. We served one more year after that, reporting all we could discover in nightly wanderings. True to his word he released us. A smuggler took us down the coast, and we were let loose. He supplied us with sturdy body harnesses that would not break in strong currents. Simple goods and beautiful shells, pieces of glass, polished marble and glass spheres, and even shiny silver and gold wire to adorn ourselves with. I took up my fathers mantle of the tribes’ servant of semanua. We fought many foes, and slowly men pushed nearer and nearer. Because i was familiar with humans, i was given title of envoy. Soon enough the great but aging chief and humans had sour words. I did all i could to avoid war – extinction is not an acceptable outcome. In the end, i betrayed my chief in return for the men not invading and wiping out my people. A deal was struck, though my betrayal could not go unpunished. Outcast I was, never to return. I returned to the only other place i had called home. I explained what happened to Rivkin, and he said I would only be my own worst enemy if i tried to simply insert myself into human society. My god had stripped me of my powers, I did not know what else to do, how I could contribute. He introduced me to an acquaintance of his, a priestess of Sune. She had mercy on me and said she would educate me. For years I passed between temples in Cormyr, like a mascot almost. After a couple years, I was given unto the clergy of Silvanus. I had found a new leader that I felt I was worthy of. I learned, tested, memorized, and appeased to become a dedicated follower. Another few more years, more gods, more travels and I felt ready. I returned to Rivkin to pay him the honor debt I owed, but he said he required nothing of me himself. He was greatly changed… within. He asked that I assist you in his stead while he was required to deal with a pledge to his mate. He was expected to make a clutch it seemed, though he did not seem to relish this. All species must mate and lay a clutch to survive. It is only right that he obey the way. Does he not want his people to go on? Strange indeed, but here I am, at your service.
Careful Study: For 2 years he served as a veritable slave in the varying public temples of Cormyr, trying to learn the ways of men – he watched everything keenly and picked up much. (accounts for Skill Expert; +1 any Ability [wisdom], 1 skill [insight], Expertise in 1 skill)
Served for a year in the secret enclave of Shar. (accounts for Shadow Touched; +1 Wisdom, Learn Invisibility and a 1st-level spell must be from the Illusion or Necromancy schools – You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either of these spells in this way, you can’t cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level.

Character Concept: [08/2021] Ujazk; What about an outcast lizard man? Druid instead of cleric. He prevented war between his kind and the humans, but had to betray his chieftain to do it. Now he wanders, seeking a place, and to be a leader – since his actions took a great leader from the world, he must shed his phobias and old ways and adopt human ones… to replace it in the great balance. Its been tough for him obviously, good RP challenge – language barriers, cold blooded, stony silence sometimes, eat anything, strange superstitions. Could be real fun. Affable as far as Lizard Folk go, been working at it for a couple years, but people still fear a 7′ lizard standing on its hind legs.
