The Hydrae are generally the result of a dragon’s dreams. It could be considered a neurosis; the result of mental disease. It can also come about when a dragon is divided, of many minds about a subject. As they ponder the subject, their thoughts and dreams crystalize the divided perspectives as hydrae.
