Magus/Occultist Blade

The Magus Blade is a form of an Empowered weapon of the Occult. An occultist’s blade is always Singularly Bound. Unless noted, the item must be wielded to gain the full command of its powers. Some may be enjoined just by being in contact; Only the most powerful can channel some or all of their power from a distance. Part of its empowerment stems from the fact that it is a shaped and forged item of metal, meant to hold the form of power to cut through the dangers of the world. It is a symbol of the occultist’s will to bind power to affect The Pattern.

It is a symbol of authority, external strength, and a symbol of their answer to the peril of the world. An occultist’s blade holds bound power, project force and change the world around them. Rare ones may amplify Essence powers.

In combat, the blade of a magus for attack only, used to attack and batter enemies rather than protect the life of the wizard.

All blades can be wielded one or two handed and can be held with one.
