The PCS will come across some old books that a merchant has. He will pay them for staving off some bandits in books. He doesn’t have much else left. One of the books contains a hidden compartment with parchment. It is a book on cooking. The parchment contains the account of a man who interviewed a cultist who had escaped. The cultist describes a place, buried in Rock, where his cult took all their treasure. The cult drove them to madness. It was led by a druid, all who participated were disarmed by that and fell under its way. He said that they must return the treasures of men to the Earth once again. And so they did violent unspeakable things, kidnapping, thievery, murder in the name of the cult. As they were performing the ceremony there was a quake. He was struck violently on the head by a falling rock and it seemed to snap him out of whatever fugue he was in. He ran screaming while the rest of the cult pursued him. He managed to just get out of the cave as the entrance collapsed, sealing in the cultus and the treasure forever.
