Characters that Shun Heavy Armor will neither attempt to develop the ability to use or wear it. They have developed in an environment where Heavy Armor is eschewed and often deeply disdained. Within the climate, environment, and/or culture it is seen as a liability and subsequently these characters generally prefer lighter offensive and defensive armaments and greater freedom of movement.
These characters will either choose not to acquire, and/or renounce and lose any benefits of Heavy Armor Familiarity.
