The result of the Lich Lord Zoras trapped in the grinding stones of the Ur-Ducateon, being killed in some fashion.
IT does not matter who does it, but if the nail is used to destroy the last link to undeath the Lich Lord has, the following will happen:
Additionally, the Lich Lords manifested ire will be added to any random encounters the PCs may have as part of an adventure. They will spontaneously assemble skeletons from remains of the dead all over and send them to attack the PCs – its mostly a nuisance.
The number appearing will be 2-5 (d4+1) per encounter
AC: 12 (no armor; no Body Beyond or Mind Beyond)
HP: 10 (less than normal); resistance to pierce and slash damage/vulnerable to bludgeon
Combat: They will ambush from up out of the ground; Stealth +6 vs. Perception (not passive – Lich Lord magic masks them!). They will appear in a single group, attacking a single individual (though a random one selected each time). One will always try and hold a PC (Advantage on strength checks because they are half buried. +2 AC for partial cover. They strike only with their bony fingers, doing d4;2/4/8 + each critical hit will mark them with a Death Token. IF this happens, read the following:
You know the bones of the dead have pierced your flesh as an icy chill steels over you. You are cold and sick, and for a brief moment you feel like a sharp object has been driven into your breast though the wound was elsewhere. Faintly, barely heard of the combat itself, you hear a hoarse whisper: “You have been marked…”.
Results of Detect Magic + Detect Poison/Disease + Detect Good/Evil:
Detect Magic: There is a magical mark upon your chest. Seeing the sigil makes you nauseous. You smell putrefaction, and hear the chanting for the dead and cries of the living receding as a soul enters the Halls of the Dead. IT fades quickly from audible detection, but echoes in your head for several moments…
