Singularly Bound: Singularly bound items are made for a specific individual. The magic contained in the item is Attuned only for the individual’s Essence it is made for. Almost all persistent, non singularly bound items are unique and made for a specific purpose. One of the purposes of a singularly bound item is to serve the entity it is bound to.
Ease of Making: It is the easiest/least costly approach of making magic items – by narrowly limiting the employment of their power to a minimum. The death of the person attuned to it releases all its magic. If the attuned is alive, the item can only be drained for mana. Only the most powerful are persistent and not singularly bound with an Essence… even divine items.
