This highly volatile system was a trinary at once point, and was reduced to a binary in some unknown cataclysmic event. The event has no known references, with the biggest of the three stars seemingly collapsing and the remains flung out in all directions. Several planets can be seen within the system, though over tens of thousands of years, no life has been detected. There formed a pulsar at the very edge of the system, making it even more inhospitable. The high levels of radiation keep most visitors away, with attempts to prospect in the past revealing little or no reason to choose this system over much easier pickings elsewhere.
